It also proposed to include hours for live and recorded music on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and to amend specific conditions related to kitchen extraction fans and non-standard timings for Christmas Day and Good Friday.

The report pack indicated that the current premises licence was granted on 24 November 2005 and transferred to JDS Dining Ltd. in November 2025. A previous review of the licence in October 2022 resulted in modifications to hours and conditions on 24 January 2023.

The application had received representations from the Environmental Health Authority (Environmental Protection) on the grounds of the prevention of public nuisance. Additionally, 47 representations were received from local residents opposing the variation on the grounds of the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, prevention of public nuisance, and the protection of children from harm. One email was received in support of the application.
