The Barnet Council Cabinet met on Tuesday 12 March 2024 to discuss a range of important issues, approving a new five-year plan for Adult Social Care and endorsing significant investment in the borough's roads and pavements. Key decisions also included the approval of the Barnet Group's business plan and the progression of the Local Plan through public consultation on main modifications.

The meeting, chaired by Councillor Barry Rawlings, covered a broad agenda including fire safety in timber-framed properties, the improving Barnet's Roads and Pavements Programme, and the Local Plan main modifications. Cabinet also approved Our Plan for Adult Social Care 2024-2029 and noted the Our Plan for Barnet – Delivery and Outcomes Framework, Q3 2023-24 . The Barnet Group's five-year business plan was also approved. Several site-specific planning matters were discussed, including proposals for the former Church Farm Leisure Centre site, Edgware Hospital, and the former East Barnet Library.
