The Standards Committee of Lewisham Council met on Wednesday 27 March 2024. During the meeting, Councillor Hilary Moore was elected as Chair and Councillor Bill Brown was elected as Vice-Chair of the committee.

Election of Chair and Vice Chair

Councillor Hilary Moore was elected as the Chair of the Standards Committee, and Councillor Bill Brown was elected as the Vice-Chair. This decision was made by a resolution of the committee. Jeremy Chambers, Director of Law and Corporate Governance, and Emma Campbell Smith, Head of Governance and Committee Services, were also present at the meeting. The committee members present were Councillors Hilary Moore, Bill Brown, Peter Bernards, Will Cooper, Rosie Parry, James Rathbone, Aliya Sheikh, and Eva Stamirowski.
