She asked for a breakdown of the 700 residents who participated in the consultation. Furthermore, she sought clarification on the integration of systems and the potential impact of future changes within the integrated neighborhood teams on the council's partnerships with the VCS sector.
...how are we going to publicise, although when we are bringing those in, partly, that will be done through the teams and the VCS, the provision for the diverse communities and then learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and how people respond. And there's a mention of 700 people, 700 residents participated. And do we have how many of them break down of that? So, roughly, just to know.

She acknowledged apologies from absent members and invited Councillor Bell and officers to join the table. She confirmed agreement on the minutes of the previous meeting and the absence of any declarations of interest or responses from the Mayor and Cabinet.
During the discussion on dentistry, she questioned Jeremy Wallman, Head of Primary Care Commissioning, regarding the percentage of PIDs having to pay back funds:
Thanks, Chair. Yeah, thank you. That was a... I definitely feel like I've learned a lot about dentistry, reading through those slides. But I was just going to ask, going back to the percentage of PIDs having to pay back, they've not met that. So, if I've understood correctly, that's still around 40%, and I just wonder how are we kind of maintaining relationships with practices who are falling in that 40%, and is that a barrier to good relationships or a risk for them dropping out?
She also commented on the importance of annual dental check-ups and access for certain communities, raising concerns about the lack of registration as a potential barrier:
To the annual check-ups, annual dental check-ups, which seems to be the very foundation of good, and that's where the tooth decay is detected early or prevent or attractive or easy for families or for certain communities to access it.
And just wanted to know, is there some work that's being done for certain communities in which they're decayed? Because itself, the dental work being done on that, because they are very much related with each other.
And the last comment I have to make was, this lack of registration, that it's, again, a comment, which I feel can become a barrier sometimes for anybody who has done the treatment, and next time they find out. And, again, with certain communities, hard to reach, with other barriers, with the language, with the culture, and to find a new dentist, and to go through the whole procedure. And not only that, when they go to a new practice, that would mean the initial examination, that would be going to cost them, which might not have had they been registered. So, we, I feel, we would recommend that those barriers be addressed and lowered.
She expressed confusion about the relationship between UDAs and the difficulty people face in finding an NHS dentist:
And the other thing, which I'm just trying to fathom and just coming to terms with it, that with the, we here, and I don't have the statistics at the moment with me to support it, that people finding it difficult to find the NHS dentist, whereas with 96%, they have to have that UDAs, which is the dental activity. Units of dental activity. So, and some of them are not even able to make that contract. That, just, I can't understand how those two go together.
She introduced Ashley Oshognes and Dr. Hartman for the presentation on primary care access and set a time limit for the presentation.
Sheikh also emphasized the importance of scrutinizing budget saving proposals to ensure they do not negatively impact service users. She clarified that the Enablement Efficiency savings are focused on the £1m allocated to outsourced staff. She asked for elaboration on the progress and challenges of savings, especially considering complex health conditions. She inquired whether moving from high-cost to low-cost placements is due to improved conditions or cost-saving. She also asked about confidence in achieving required savings for Continual Review of Care Home Placements. She emphasized the importance of monitoring, evaluation, transparent reporting, and robust feedback to ensure resident welfare is not compromised regarding Maximising Wellbeing at Home - Efficiencies. She argued that the proposed development would visually harm the area's character and appearance. She mentioned visiting the site and observing the potential loss of privacy and sunlight. She also highlighted existing issues with waste disposal and emergency vehicle access, noting that residents had contacted board counselors about these problems. She suggested a site visit to assess waste, noise, historical, conservation, and appearance issues.
