The Housing Overview and Scrutiny Committee of Shropshire Council met on Thursday 14 May 2026. During the meeting, Councillor Andy Davis was elected as the new Chairman, and Councillor Rosemary Dartnall was appointed as Vice-Chairman for the upcoming municipal year.
Election of Chairman and Vice-Chairman
The committee formally elected Councillor Andy Davis as its Chairman for the forthcoming municipal year. Councillor Rosemary Dartnall was subsequently appointed as the Vice-Chairman. These appointments were made by proposal, seconded, and duly resolved by the committee members present.
