Summary
South Holland District Council's Cabinet met on 21 July 2025 and agreed to move forward with the South Holland Health and Wellbeing Hub project by approving an amended budget and financing strategy. Much of the discussion was held in private due to the commercially sensitive nature of the project.
Delivery of the South Holland Health and Wellbeing Hub Project
The Cabinet agreed to recommendations detailed in an exempt report, which concerned the amended budget allocation and associated financing strategy for the South Holland Health and Wellbeing Hub project. This decision allows instructions to be issued to begin the project. Councillor Paul A Redgate, Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Finance, presented the report to the Cabinet. The agenda indicated that the report was provided by the Assistant Director – Strategic Growth and Development, and the Interim Director of Finance (S151).
The decision was made after the press and public were excluded from the meeting, as the discussion involved the disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 19721.

The Cabinet also addressed the following items:
