Overview and Scrutiny Management Board - Thursday, 29th January, 2026 10.00 am

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Board is scheduled to meet on Thursday, 29 January 2026, to consider the Council's budget for the upcoming financial year, 2026/27. The Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority (GLCCA) Overview and Scrutiny Committee was scheduled to discuss the draft Medium Term Financial Plan for 2026/27, the GLCCA's Treasury Management Strategy, Treasury Policy Statement, and Treasury Management Practices. The committee was also set to review the delegation of transport functions as part of the Local Transport Authority transition programme and consider its work programme for the coming year.

The Children's and Culture Scrutiny Committee met on Friday, 23 January 2026, to discuss the council's budget proposals for the upcoming financial year, review school admissions policies, and consider the procurement of training programmes for Children's Services staff. The committee also reviewed its work programme to ensure scrutiny activities remain focused and beneficial.

Lincolnshire County Council is scheduled to meet on Friday, 19 December 2025 to discuss the council's financial regulations and budget, and to review the Section 17 Crime and Disorder Reduction Strategy. Councillors will also hear statements from the Leader and members of the Executive.

Children's and Culture Scrutiny Committee - Friday, 5th December, 2025 10.00 am

The Children's and Culture Scrutiny Committee are scheduled to meet to discuss a range of topics, including the Culture Service's activity and impact, an update on the Lincoln Museum redevelopment, performance reporting, supported accommodation for young people, and a roof replacement at Boston Hawthorn Tree Primary School. The committee will also have the opportunity to review and comment on its work programme. As the meeting is in the future, it is not possible to determine whether these topics will be discussed, or what decisions will be made.
