The Cabinet of Lancashire Council decided to approve the allocation of £19 million for special school expansions and £4 million for a mainstream inclusion capital fund. They also approved the publication of a draft revised Joint Lancashire Minerals and Waste Local Plan for consultation. The Cabinet agreed to cease all refugee resettlement administration responsibility, with the Director of Communities and Engagement authorised to implement this decision.

The Cabinet of Lancashire Council approved recommendations on 03/09/2026. They noted the council's performance in Quarter 4 of 2025/26, approved proposals to improve performance, noted progress on the Council Improvement Plan, and approved new key performance indicators and targets for 2026/27.
