The Adult Care Services Cabinet Panel met on Thursday, 22 January 2026, to discuss the 2026-27 budget and Medium-Term Financial Strategy for Adult Care Services, and to consider proposals for delegating authority for the re-provision of residential establishments within the Supported Living Programme. The panel also reviewed the council's response to the consultation on the establishment of an Adult Social Care Negotiating Body and associated Fair Pay Agreements.

The Hertfordshire County Council met to discuss a range of issues, including a petition to keep street lights on at night, devolution, and revisions to the council's constitution. The Hertfordshire County Council convened an extraordinary meeting on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at County Hall in Hertford. The primary focus of the meeting was to consider the Local Government Reorganisation Business Case. The meeting also provided an opportunity for public questions and petitions related to the business at hand.

Adult Care Services Cabinet Panel - Thursday, 23 October 2025 10.00 am

The Adult Care Services Cabinet Panel convened to discuss key strategies and performance metrics, focusing on enhancing services for older adults, individuals with dementia, and those with physical disabilities. The panel endorsed a proposed five-year care homes commissioning strategy for older people to be sent to the cabinet, and also supported the delivery plan for the dementia strategy, including the introduction of a Dementia Friendly Accreditation Scheme in Hertfordshire. Additionally, the panel reviewed and commented on the physical disability strategy and the adult care services performance monitor.
