Surrey Cabinet approved the Capital Maintenance Delivery Strategy and allocated capital funding for health and safety, welfare, and asset improvement projects on 30/06/2026. Cabinet approved the procurement of construction partners and delegated authority to officers to authorise and award contracts within budgetary tolerance. Cabinet also noted improvements to contract arrangements and operational delivery.

The Cabinet decided to approve recommendations for the future delivery of statutory school improvement services on 30 June 2026. The preferred option is to award a new contract to a Teckal-compliant SAfE organisation, with a contingency to transfer services in-house if compliance is not achieved. Authority was delegated to the Executive Director of Children, Families and Lifelong Learning to review SAfE's business plan, determine Teckal compliance, and agree the delivery model and necessary agreements or consult on TUPE transfer.

The Cabinet of Surrey Council on 30 June 2026 approved recommendations subject to call-in. The decision was recorded as approved.

Cabinet noted the pathway to establishing a Foundation Strategic Authority for Surrey. The Leader, in consultation with the Chief Executive, was delegated authority to approve the devolution proposal and launch the consultation. This decision was made on 30/06/2026.

Surrey Cabinet declared Sunray Farm surplus to operational requirements on 30/06/2026. They approved the minimum reserve price and delegated authority to the Deputy Chief Executive and Executive Director of Resources to finalise the transaction. This included agreeing specific covenants and entering into legal agreements.
