The Cabinet decided to approve the Council Housing Service Plan for 2026/27 and the updated Assurance Framework. This decision was made on 11 March 2026. The approved framework includes the launch of a new Council Housing Board.

The Cabinet of Enfield Council approved the Exempt Supported Accommodation Strategy and Commissioning Framework on 11 March 2026. The decision included approving the strategy and framework, delegating authority for procurement to the Director of Homelessness and Supported Housing, and approving an investment of £648,000 over 12 months.

The Cabinet of Enfield Council agreed to approve recommendations for the Crisis and Resilience Fund on 11 March 2026. The Cabinet noted the allocation of £7.4m per year for this fund and agreed to distribute it as detailed in the report. Authority was delegated to the Chief Financial Officer to reallocate funding up to £0.5m between themes and to agree any necessary legal documentation.

The Leader of the Council approved the updated Corporate Complaints Policy on 11 March 2026. The policy has been updated to align with the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman's Complaints Handling Code and feedback from the Housing Ombudsman. Stage 2 investigations must now be completed within 20 working days of acknowledgement.

The Cabinet of Enfield Council approved the Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy 2026-35 on 11 March 2026. The strategy sets out the community safety partnership's approach to preventing and addressing violence against women and girls. The Cabinet noted endorsements of the strategy from the Safer Stronger Communities Board and the Healthy and Safe Scrutiny Committee.
