The Garioch Area Committee refused Full Planning Permission for an extension to Hillhead Caravan Park on 25 August 2026. The decision was made due to significant unacceptable impact on the amenity of residents of Hillhead Croft from the development's enclosure, a one-way system, and potential conflict with movements to and from the croft.

The Garioch Area Committee noted the Aberdeenshire HSCP Performance Report for Strategic Delivery Plan 2025/26 – 2028/29 on 25/08/2026. The committee requested further information on the Donbank Voice Recognition Pilot and a timescale for the Review of Care Homes and Very Sheltered Housing report. Information regarding the commencement of the Walk in Clinic at Inverurie Health Hub would be provided in due course.

The Garioch Area Committee noted the Annual Scrutiny and Improvement Report 2025-26 on 25/08/2026. The committee requested an update on RTIP locations as detailed in Appendix 2, Page 123 of the Environment and Sustainability section.

Garioch Area Committee approved the disposal of the former Harlaw Centre site in Inverurie on 25/08/2026.

The Garioch Area Committee of Aberdeenshire Council approved the declaration of members' interests on 25/08/2026. Councillor Whyte declared no interest in relation to her role as a Trustee of a charity involved in framework delivery for learning disabilities activities.
