The Marr Area Committee noted the Statement of Outstanding Business on 15 September 2026. The committee welcomed the completion of the Huntly one-way system and thanked the Roads team. They also raised concerns about the reporting of early learning and childcare provision locations and suggested future reports include provider locations and distances.

The Marr Area Committee decided to provide comment to the Infrastructure Services Committee on the proposed change in approach for approval and management of Festive Lighting Installations. The committee welcomed the intention for a more flexible policy but questioned the fairness of the population-based funding formula and raised concerns about the five-year charging model. They also queried how the system would work for new settlements, the risks to street light columns, and community responsibility for insurance and repairs.
