The Cabinet of Cardiff Council decided to approve support for the submission of the 2035 FIFA Women's World Cup bid on 16 October 2025. Authority was delegated to the Director of Economic Development, in consultation with the Cabinet Member (Culture Sport and Parks), Monitoring Officer, and S.151 Officer, to consider further matters relating to the bid.

Cardiff Council's Cabinet approved the City Parking Plan and associated Parking Policies on 16 October 2025. The decision included instructing the Director of Governance and Legal Services to carry out statutory consultations for any required Traffic Regulation Orders and delegating authority to the Director of Planning, Transport & Environment to approve specific parking standards, amendments, and the zonal programme.

Authority was delegated to the Corporate Director Resources to determine all aspects of the procurement process, with contract award and the Full Business Case subject to future Cabinet reports.
