The Cabinet of Newham Council resolved to consider and respond to the Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Commission's report on leisure inequalities and the borough's plans to address them on 18 November 2025. They also resolved to provide an Executive Response to the recommendations made. The Cabinet agreed to consider and respond to the report and its recommendations, and to provide an Executive Response.

The Cabinet decided to agree to the procurement of proposed capital condition projects for schools. This includes £2.4 million from existing unallocated Department for Education (DfE) allocations and up to £4.0 million from the 2026/2027 DfE allocation. The Cabinet also agreed to a contingency sum of £320,000 and delegated authority to the Director of Property to extend the programme scope if additional DfE funding is received.

... the Cabinet of Newham approved the adoption of a new Housing Resident Involvement Strategy, the 2024/25 Annual Complaints Self-Assessment to the Housing Ombudsman, the Corporate Response to the 2024/25 Annual Complaints Self-Assessment, and the adoption of the amended Housing Complaints Policy, while also noting the quarterly update on the Housing Services Improvement Programme and related feedback, observations, Equalities Impact Assessment, and the Annual Complaints Performance Report.
