The Cabinet decided to approve recommendations for the re-procurement of the Domestic Gas heating servicing and maintenance contract on 11 June 2026. The Cabinet granted authority to officers to commence a procurement process for a specialist provider and delegated authority to the Strategic Director of Housing & Regeneration to award the contract. The decision includes granting authority to officers to commence a procurement process for a specialist provider for the contract, with an initial period of five years and a two-year extension option, and delegating authority to the Strategic Director of Housing & Regeneration, in consultation with portfolio holders, to award the contract.
