The Garioch Area Committee approved the Business Services' Area Committee Performance Indicator Report for year-end progress on 23 June 2026. The committee agreed to put forward a comment requesting that if management have a way to assess team performance for workstreams, this should be provided.

The Garioch Area Committee decided to grant planning permission in principle for residential development and associated infrastructure, subject to conditions. The Area Manager will write to NHS Grampian to raise concerns about GP services and staffing.

The Garioch Area Committee of Aberdeenshire Council decided to approve the declaration of members' interests on 23 June 2026. Councillor Gifford declared no interest in the application.

The Garioch Area Committee decided to defer consideration of the application on 23/06/2026. The committee agreed to defer consideration of the application for a site visit to assess revised access arrangements and pathways. Officers are to include wording for a further condition relating to the one-way access system and signage, and investigate rewording of "short term" in Condition 3 for clarification.

Garioch Area Committee approved the Supplementary Procurement Plan for Education and Children's Services Directorate on 23 June 2026. This plan includes proposals for refurbishing Insch School Nursery using Scottish Government grant funding.
