The Cabinet Member for Health and Communities approved the revised 2026/27 Better Care Fund Section 75 Agreement between Surrey County Council and NHS Sussex and Surrey Integrated Care Board on 27 October 2026. The decision noted the expiry of the previous agreement and the approval of the 2026/27 Better Care Fund Plan by system partners. The agreement includes revised governance arrangements and provisions for managing underspends.

Surrey Council Cabinet noted the Cabinet Member of the Month update on 29 September 2026.

Surrey Cabinet noted the Council's forecast revenue and capital budget positions. Cabinet approved increases to the A308 corridor improvement project capital budget by £3.1m, the Corporate Parenting – Children’s Homes capital budget by £2.1m, and the Ewell Village improvement project capital budget by £0.8m. These increases are to be funded by additional grant and historic balances.
