The Portfolio Holder for Finance and Property approved the commencement of public consultation on Warwickshire County Council’s 2027/28 budget priorities, spending levels, and Council Tax options. This decision was made on 25 September 2026 and also approved the draft consultation material for publication.

The Cabinet decided to approve the Customer, Digital and Data Strategy 2026-2028 on 10 September 2026. They also authorised the Executive Director for Resources to finalise the Customer, Digital and Data Delivery Plan and keep it under review. Performance against the Delivery Plan will be reported through the Council's performance and governance arrangements.

The Cabinet of Warwickshire Council decided on 10/09/2026 to note a forecast net service overspend of £10.043m for 2026-27. They also noted the forecast delivery of savings and approved the movement of capital programme spend into future years. The decision also noted risks related to Local Government Reorganisation.

The Cabinet approved the adoption of the Warwickshire Food Plan 2026–2028 as the Council's strategic framework for addressing food insecurity, improving diets, and strengthening food system resilience. This decision was made on 10 September 2026. The Cabinet also authorised the Executive Director for Resources to finalise the Plan and supported the continued partnership-led delivery model through the Warwickshire Food Forum.
