The Cabinet decided to adopt the Tree and Hedgerow Action Plan on 16/12/2025. This plan will inform the delivery of the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership Tree and Hedgerow Strategy. The decision includes developing a portable biosecurity pack for staff, identifying reputable suppliers for native tree stock, and considering the establishment of community tree nurseries.

The Cabinet of South Holland Council recommended that Full Council approve the continuation of the current Council Tax Support scheme for 2026/27, uprated in line with DWP updates. They delegated approval for developing the scheme rules to the Director of Finance and Section 151 Officer, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Finance.

The Cabinet of South Holland Council approved the Net Zero Action Plan on 16 December 2025. The plan sets out a pathway to achieve the Council's commitment to be Net Zero by 2040. Specific actions include fleet reviews for electrification, developing decarbonisation strategies for operational buildings, and identifying opportunities for renewable energy measures at council sites.

The Cabinet of South Holland Council approved the submission of a ten-year Regeneration Plan and a four-year investment profile for Spalding under the UK Government’s Pride in Place Programme on 24/11/2025. Authority was delegated to the Director of Economic Development to agree amendments to the plan and profile, and to the Council’s Section 151 Officer to approve the submission.
