The Lewisham Council meeting on 11 February 2025 was scheduled to include discussions about a range of topics in the council’s draft local plan, including a proposed increase in the target for new housing delivery. Proposed changes to the plan included a series of modifications to the “Lewisham Local Plan: Proposed Submission Document”, an addendum to the “Integrated Impact Assessment”, and a schedule of policy map changes. The Council approved the Statement of Accounts 2023/24 and Annual Report 2023/24. The Council also approved a number of amendments to the Council’s Constitution and, as part of its statutory duty, approved changes to the polling scheme for elections and referendums. Finally, the Council adopted a motion declaring Lewisham a “Right to Food Borough”.

The most recent meeting of the full Council of Lewisham Council included a motion affirming the commitment of the Labour Group to addressing the climate emergency and included a review of the activities of the council's Overview and Scrutiny committees. The meeting also included discussion of whether the basic allowance paid to councillors should be increased.
