The Place Committee of Kingston upon Thames Council decided on 23 September 2026 to uphold objections to a proposed zebra crossing and rescind previous resolutions for its introduction. The Kingston and North Kingston Neighbourhood Committee of Kingston upon Thames Council approved two applications for Neighbourhood Community Grant funding on 15 September 2026. Barnfield Riding for the Disabled received £2,200 and RBKares received £3,000 for their Warmer in Winter Bags project.
