The Planning Committee of Staffordshire Council decided to approve recommendations on 04 June 2026. The decision was to vary Condition 14(e)(ii) of permission SCC/21/0070/FULL-ES to allow ten HGVs to enter or leave Saredon Hill Quarry between 06:00 and 07:00, and between 18:00 and 19:00, Monday to Friday, and between 06:00 and 07:00 on Saturdays, until 31 December 2028.

The Planning Committee of Staffordshire Council decided to approve recommendations on 02 April 2026. Authority was delegated to the Director for Economy, Infrastructure and Skills, in consultation with the Chairman of Planning Committee and the Cabinet Member for Connectivity, to determine a Hazardous Substances Consent application for the Roundhill Anaerobic Digestion Facility. The committee agreed to update the Section 106 legal agreement to refer to the approved Conservation Scheme for the 'Adjoining Land' instead of 'Bevin's Birches'. This correction ensures the legal agreement accurately reflects the land covered by the scheme.
