The Planning Committee of Staffordshire Council decided to approve recommendations on 02 April 2026. Authority was delegated to the Director for Economy, Infrastructure and Skills, in consultation with the Chairman of Planning Committee and the Cabinet Member for Connectivity, to determine a Hazardous Substances Consent application for the Roundhill Anaerobic Digestion Facility. This delegation is to occur on receipt of relevant consultation responses, particularly from the Health and Safety Executive.

The Planning Committee of Staffordshire Council approved a correction to a report on Rugeley Quarry on 02 April 2026. The committee agreed to update the Section 106 legal agreement to refer to the approved Conservation Scheme for the 'Adjoining Land' instead of 'Bevin's Birches'. This correction ensures the legal agreement accurately reflects the land covered by the scheme.

This included approving changes to plant site and haul road construction, and amending conditions relating to out-of-hours working.
