The Audit Committee of Havering Council met on Tuesday 13 October 2026 to discuss the council's progress in rebuilding audit assurance following historic disclaimed audit opinions and to review the internal audit progress report. The committee noted that while progress is being made, a return to unqualified audit opinions is unlikely before 2029-30.
