Shropshire Council Corporate plan 2026/27-2030/31

The Cabinet of Shropshire Council considered and recommended the draft Corporate Plan 2026-30 to Council for approval on 06/05/2026. The Cabinet noted the need for financial recovery and sustainability, alignment of delivery commitments to the Council's financial position, and potential impact on service standards. A performance framework will be developed, including Key Performance Indicators, key delivery commitments, and an annual review report.

Shropshire Domestic Abuse Partnership Strategy

Local Plan – Notice of Intention to Commence Plan Making and Scoping Consultation

The Cabinet of Shropshire Council agreed to publish the Local Plan Project Initiation Document, the Plan-Making Timetable, and the Notice of Intention to Commence Plan Making. They also approved the publication of the Local Plan Scoping Document, Draft Community Hierarchy, Draft Site Identification and Assessment Methodology, and SEA Screening Report for public consultation. Delegated responsibility for preparing and consulting on an SEA/SA Scoping document, and for agreeing the completion of Gateway 1, was given to the Interim Service Director for Place Shaping in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Planning.
