Cabinet - Wednesday 17th September 2025 6.00 pm
The Boston Borough Council Cabinet met to discuss the first quarter performance and risks, the financial position, and several strategic initiatives. Councillors agreed to consult on options for the local Council Tax Support scheme for 2026/27, approved a new Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Strategy, and supported the continuation of the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Crowdfunding Scheme. A new Body Worn Video Policy for the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership was also approved.
Special Meeting, Cabinet - Thursday 31st July 2025 6.30 pm
At a special cabinet meeting, Boston Borough Council agreed to partner with East Lindsey District Council and South Holland District Council in developing a proposal for local government reorganisation, and also approved operational arrangements for a home energy advice service. The cabinet also discussed and approved a finance update, a performance and risk report, and an update on the Plan for Neighbourhoods.

The Boston Town Area Committee BTAC meeting included an update on crime and policing in Boston, a review of the committee's work programme, and a discussion of the BTAC Small and Empowering Healthy Communities Grant Scheme.
Full Council - Monday 21st July 2025 6.30 pm
Boston Council's meeting on 21 July 2025 saw Councillor Dale Broughton elected as the new leader of the council following a motion to remove Councillor Anne Dorrian from the position, and the approval of budget adjustments for the capital programme. The council also discussed the annual treasury report and the allocation of seats on committees.
Boston Town Area Committee (BTAC) - Thursday 5th June 2025 6.30 pm
The Boston Town Area Committee (BTAC) met to elect a chair and vice-chair, discuss the financial outturn report for the last quarter of the financial year, and review the work programme for the coming year. Councillor Patsy Marzen was elected chair of the committee, and Councillor Paul Gleeson was elected vice-chair. The committee approved the transfer of a surplus of £86,213 to its reserves.
