Boston Borough Council met to discuss the 2024/25 outturn report, appointments to committees, the designation of a Section 151 officer[^2], the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership performance, and a motion to replace the Chairman of the Planning Committee. Cabinet - Wednesday 17th September 2025 6.00 pm

The Boston Borough Council Cabinet met to discuss the first quarter performance and risks, the financial position, and several strategic initiatives. Councillors agreed to consult on options for the local Council Tax Support scheme for 2026/27, approved a new Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Strategy, and supported the continuation of the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Crowdfunding Scheme. A new Body Worn Video Policy for the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership was also approved.

Special Meeting, Cabinet - Thursday 31st July 2025 6.30 pm

At a special cabinet meeting, Boston Borough Council agreed to partner with East Lindsey District Council and South Holland District Council in developing a proposal for local government reorganisation, and also approved operational arrangements for a home energy advice service. The cabinet also discussed and approved a finance update, a performance and risk report, and an update on the Plan for Neighbourhoods.
