About
The Boston Town Area Committee (BTAC) represents the views of residents in the town wards, fulfilling the role of a parish council for the non-parished area of Boston. It is responsible for providing and maintaining local facilities and services, including parks, open spaces, play areas, town events, and public toilets. BTAC also monitors service performance, acts as a consultee on major local developments, and awards Community Grants to town-based organisations and events. The committee funds these activities through a special precept collected as part of Council Tax.
