The Council noted the update reports provided by the Chair of the Community & Wellbeing and Resources & Public Realm Scrutiny Committees on 18/09/2023.

The Council noted the deputation received from Satvinder Riyat representing Sudbury Matters Forum regarding Barham Park on 18/09/2023. The deputation outlined the history of the park and the Forum's aim to establish a "Friends of Barham Park" group to ensure community involvement in its future use and management. The Council welcomed the establishment of the Friends Group as a means of focussing future collaboration and engagement.

Council agreed that the minutes of the Council meeting held on Monday 10 July 2023 be approved as a correct record on 18/09/2023.

The Council agreed to note changes in committee membership and appointments to outside bodies on 18/09/2023. Councillor Tatler was appointed to cover the role of Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance, Resources & Reform during Councillor Mili Patel’s maternity leave. Rhys Jarvis was appointed as an Independent co-opted Member on the Audit & Standards Advisory Committee.
