The Cabinet of Brent Council decided to endorse Brent's new Damp and Mould Policy on 27/07/2026. They also noted comments made on the status and next steps to deliver the policy commitments. The policy provides a framework for investigating, resolving, and preventing damp and mould in the council's housing stock.

The Cabinet of Brent Council approved entering into a new Collaboration Agreement for the West London Fostering Recruitment and Retention Programme on 27/07/2026. The Cabinet delegated authority to the Corporate Director Children, Young People and Community Development, in consultation with the Corporate Director of Finance and Resources, to finalise the terms of this agreement. This includes undertaking the whole fostering assessment process and providing initial training to foster carers.

The Cabinet of Brent Council approved the Brent Infrastructure Funding Statement 2024-25 for publication on the Council's website on 27 July 2026. The decision included an amendment to correct the tenure type for affordable housing units.

The Cabinet of Brent Council decided to note the financial outturn for 2025-26 on 27/07/2026. The General Fund recorded an overspend of £18.3m, the Dedicated Schools Grant overspent by £6.6m, and the Housing Revenue Account reported a breakeven position. The capital programme delivered expenditure of £215.4m.

The Cabinet decided to approve recommendations regarding the Bridge Park Complex Regeneration Proposals on 27/07/2026. The Cabinet approved a revised facility mix and phasing for the leisure centre, a revised capital budget of £53.50m for Phase 1, and the use of up to £39m of SCIL funding. Authority was delegated to the Corporate Director, Neighbourhoods and Regeneration, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Planning and Regeneration, to award contracts for pre-construction services and main works, and to finalise land agreements and override easements subject to planning approval.
