This includes the Publication Draft Local Plan, Integrated Impact Assessment, Draft Policies Map, Consultation Statement, and Statement of Representations Procedure. The Cabinet also noted that the final decision would be made at Full Council on 22 July 2026.
The General Purposes Committee decided on 27 May 2026 to note the ongoing review of Chief Officer pay and agreed to the salary ranges for specific Chief Officer posts. These posts include the Chief Executive, Senior Assistant Director - Health and Adult Services, Assistant Director (Planning and Building Control) Chief Planning Officer, and Assistant Director of Public Health / Consultant in Public Health.
