Members of the public were invited to attend, and were asked to respect the views of others, keep to the agenda, and minimise disruption. Public Health and Health Integration Scrutiny Commission - Tuesday, 8 July 2025 5:30 pm

The Public Health and Health Integration Scrutiny Commission met to discuss public health and NHS integration in Leicester, with a focus on NHS transformation, oral health, same-day access to services, and community engagement. Councillors noted the NHS is required to make significant savings, and heard that oral health is poor in the city. They also discussed plans to improve access to services and engage with the community.

The Leicester City Council meeting on 3 July 2025 was scheduled to address contract procedure rules and the Governance and Audit Committee's annual report. The meeting was also scheduled to cover declarations of interest, petitions, questions from the public and councillors, and any urgent business.

Culture and Neighbourhoods Scrutiny Commission - Thursday, 19 June 2025 5:30 pm

The Culture and Neighbourhoods Scrutiny Commission met to discuss a range of topics, including an overview of culture and neighbourhoods, a business case for the King Richard III Visitor Centre café, updates on Public Space Protection Orders, and findings from a household waste engagement survey. The commission was also scheduled to discuss and note the terms of reference, membership, and dates of meetings for the commission in 2025/26.

Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Joint Health Scrutiny Committee - Monday, 16 June 2025 10:00 am

The Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Joint Health Scrutiny Committee met to discuss NHS transformation, a digital pilot project by the East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS), and shared care records. The committee noted the NHS transformation plans and requested more information on key performance indicators (KPIs) and GP access. The committee also heard about a digital pilot project from EMAS and a presentation on shared care records from the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT).
