About

The Cabinet is Cheltenham Borough Council's executive body, responsible for most day-to-day decisions. It comprises the Leader and eight appointed Councillors. The Cabinet makes decisions aligned with the Council's policies and budget, referring any proposals outside these to the full Council. Major decisions are published in the Cabinet's Forward Plan. Meetings are generally open to the public, except when confidential matters are discussed. Cabinet Members can also make individual executive decisions following specific procedures.
