The committee also examines and updates the City Corporation's ceremonial practices and produces a consolidated Ceremonials Book. It oversees the Outside Bodies Scheme, developing policy on appointments and reviewing the effectiveness of participation in external organisations. Additionally, the sub-committee considers matters relating to the City's benefices and makes recommendations on members' privileges, facilities, and financial assistance schemes.
