The Licensing Committee deals with various applications for licences. The Committee normally meets once every nine weeks and considers matters including taxi licences and street trading.

Anyone can attend for the public parts of a Licensing Committee meeting. The Council’s Constitution sets out details of public speaking rights at meetings.

The Licensing Sub-Committee deals with the Council’s additional licensing responsibilities under the Licensing Act 2003.
