About
The Enfield Schools Forum is a body established to give schools greater involvement in how funding is distributed within the Local Authority. It has formal decision-making powers on school funding matters.
The Forum comments on proposals for the school funding formula, issues related to the schools budget, and contracts for services provided to schools. While the Local Authority makes the initial proposals, the Forum can comment on and decide on these proposals, but it cannot make proposals of its own. Its discussions are timed to feed into the council and school budget cycle.
