About
The Children's Services Scrutiny Sub-Committee examines how Lambeth Council provides, plans, and manages services for children and young people. This includes oversight of education, youth services, early years provision, children's social care, safeguarding, and services for children with learning disabilities, children in care, troubled families, and the Youth Offending Service.
As a scrutiny committee, its role is to review and question these services, making recommendations for improvement rather than making executive decisions.
