Cabinet

The Cabinet is responsible for the day-to-day running of Lancashire County Council, making most of the decisions about how services are delivered to the community. It operates within the overall budget and policy direction set by the Full Council. The Cabinet's responsibilities cover a wide range of areas including education, social services, transport, economic development, planning, environmental services, health, and public protection. It is the executive arm of the council, meaning it implements policies and manages services.
