To review and scrutinise any matter relating to the planning, provision and operation of the health service in the area, and to review and scrutinise county council Adult Services and Public Health. Statutory responsibility for scrutiny of NHS proposals for a substantial development or variation relating to both adults and children’s health in Lancashire. The membership of this committee consists of 10 County Councillors, plus 12 non-voting co-opted members nominated by the 12 district councils.
