Licensing Sub-Committee

The Licensing Sub-Committee is responsible for making decisions on a range of licensing matters for Melton Borough Council. This includes determining applications and reviews related to premises licences and club premises certificates under the Licensing Act 2003, as well as matters arising from the Gambling Act 2005. The committee also handles private hire and hackney carriage licensing under relevant legislation. It specifically addresses applications where objections have been received and not withdrawn, and all other licensing functions not otherwise assigned.
