About

The Pensions Committee is responsible for overseeing the management of the Council's superannuation (pension) funds. It makes decisions regarding pension fund regulations as outlined in the Superannuation Act, unless these are delegated to the Corporate Director of Resources. The committee also acts as a member of the Local Authority Pension Fund Forum. While elected members hold voting rights, trade union representatives are invited with observer status and can participate in discussions at the Chair's discretion.
