South Hams Council

The Full Council is made up of all 31 District Councillors for South Hams District Council and is responsible for agreeing the annual budgets, setting new policies, and determining the Council's priorities. It meets approximately four times a year, with members of the public welcome to attend and observe proceedings, though participation is limited to submitting questions in advance.

Decisions made by the Full Council are outlined in the Council's Constitution and Delegation Scheme. Meetings are typically held on Thursdays at 2.00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at Follaton House, Totnes, and are also live-streamed online.
