The Full Council is the primary decision-making body of Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, responsible for adopting and amending the council's Constitution and local code of conduct. It approves the overall policy framework and budget, and makes key decisions on matters that deviate from these established plans.
The committee also appoints and dismisses the Leader and Cabinet members, agrees committee terms of reference and appointments, and appoints representatives to external bodies. It has the power to make, amend, or revoke bylaws, and can confer honorary titles or grant freedom of the Borough. All matters legally reserved to the Council are handled here.
