The Executive is responsible for advising the Council on future policy, making decisions within existing policy, and appointing representatives to outside bodies. It consists of the Leader and between five and ten other councillors, with West Oxfordshire District Council's Executive having nine members. The Executive's work involves policy advice in consultation with Overview and Scrutiny Committees, and decision-making that aligns with established council policy and is not handled by other committees.
