The Executive of West Oxfordshire Council decided on 21 October 2026 to approve the extension of the Charter Markets Concessions Contract with Cotswold Markets Ltd. This decision extends the contract for a further two years, to 31 July 2029, following a review of its first year of operation. The Executive delegated authority to the Director of Place, in consultation with the Executive Member for Economic Development, to agree the further 12-month extension.

The Executive of West Oxfordshire Council decided on 21 October 2026 to approve recommendations regarding Woodford Way. The council agreed to allocate £415,000 of unallocated s106 funding, enter into a long lease with SOHA Housing for land at Woodford Way, and delegate authority to the Director of Place to agree Heads of Terms with SOHA Housing.

The policy sets out the council's approach to regulating standards in private sector housing, incorporating new powers and duties from the Renters' Rights Act 2025. The decision included approving the policy itself, which details investigatory powers, informal and formal enforcement actions, and potential penalties.
