About

The Cabinet is the main executive decision-making body for Windsor and Maidenhead Council, comprising up to 10 councillors led by the Council Leader. It is responsible for considering all executive decisions identified in legislation and any key decisions .

A key decision is defined as one likely to incur significant expenditure (over £500,000 for capital or revenue) or have a substantial effect on communities across two or more wards. Key decisions must be published on the Cabinet's Forward Plan at least 28 days before they are made. Once a decision is published, a 5-working-day call-in period begins before it can be implemented.
