The Lincolnshire Integrated Care Partnership 1 (ICP) met to review its terms of reference and forward plan. Councillor S W Clegg, Executive Councillor for Adult Care and Public Health, was appointed as chair, and the partnership reaffirmed its terms of reference and noted its forward plan.
Terms of Reference
The partnership voted to reaffirm its terms of reference, which outline the principles and working arrangements for the ICP. Councillor Gibson proposed the motion, and Councillor Hulme seconded it.
Alison Christie, Head of Prevention and System Oversight, presented the report, explaining that under the Health and Care Act 2022, each area in England was required to establish an integrated care system, comprising an integrated care board and an integrated care partnership. Lincolnshire has both an ICP and a Health and Wellbeing Board 2 (HWB) covering the same area. To avoid duplication, the meetings, membership, and strategies of the two boards have been aligned. The Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy defines the priorities for Lincolnshire, while the Integrated Care Partnership Strategy outlines the enablers needed to deliver those priorities.
The terms of reference were reviewed, with the only significant change being to the membership in section 1.5.
Forward Plan
The partnership noted its forward plan, and members were invited to make comments or ask questions. No comments were made, and the forward plan was noted.
