The Executive of Lincolnshire Council approved the draft Highways Infrastructure Asset Management Strategy 2026 – 2029 on 08/04/2026. The strategy was approved with amendments to wording regarding Local Government Reorganisation, energy market volatility, and investment requirements for street lighting. The amended strategy will be published on www.lincolnshire.gov.uk.

The Executive of Lincolnshire Council decided on 08 April 2026 to approve the Capital Programme for emergency repairs and Planned and Preventative Maintenance at Lincoln Castle. They also approved the undertaking of a procurement process for the 2026/27 capital works. Authority was delegated to the Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Executive Councillor for Children’s Services, to progress the procurement process and award contracts.

The Executive of Lincolnshire Council approved the extension of the Lincolnshire Independent Advocacy Services contract. The decision was made on 08 April 2026 to extend the contract for seven months with Voiceability at a total value of £684,972.29. This extension is to finalise future requirements for the service's re-procurement due to legislative changes and engagement activities.

The Executive of Lincolnshire Council approved the extension of the Housing Related Support Service contract. This extension is for six months, from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027, at a value of £1,101,000. Authority was delegated to the Executive Director for Adult Care and Community Wellbeing, in consultation with the Executive Councillor for Adult Care and Health, to finalise the extension terms and award the contract.
