The Local Review Body (LRB) of Aberdeenshire Council convened for a site visit on Friday 12 September 2025. Councillors and the Planning Adviser to the Local Review Body, Bruce Strachan, were scheduled to meet at the McDonald's Restaurant in Westhill to inspect a location that is the subject of a planning appeal. The findings of the site visit were scheduled to be remitted to the next formal meeting of the LRB on Friday 26 September 2025 for determination.

McDonald's Restaurant, Venture Way, Arnhall Business Park, Westhill

The purpose of the site visit was to inspect the location of a planning application, reference APP/2024/2150, which had been refused full planning permission. The application concerns the proposed installation of two electric vehicle charging stations with ancillary infrastructure at the McDonald's Restaurant, Venture Way, Arnhall Business Park, Westhill, AB32 6BQ.

Members were reminded to refer to the agenda papers from the LRB meeting of 22 August 2025, where this review was initially considered. The report pack states that following the site visit:
