The Licensing Sub-Committee of Hackney Council approved the application for a Premises Licence for Coffee Junction, 42 Provost Street, London N1 7SU on 28 August 2025. The decision approved the supply of alcohol from 12:00 to 18:00 daily and opening hours from 07:00 to 19:00 daily. Conditions were added including no vertical drinking, off-sales only to seated customers outside, no glasses outside, a limit of 11 smokers outside, a maximum capacity of 120 people, and mandatory resident meetings every six months.

...the Licensing Sub-Committee approved the amended application to vary the premises licence for The Last Tuesday Society, allowing licensable activities and the supply of alcohol until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, with additional conditions including restrictions on refuse disposal and encouragement to work with local residents.
